The unemployment rate in Turkey remains at 10% of the active population, according to the latest unemployment data published by the Turkish Statistical Institute (TÜİK), which correspond to the month of March, with a slight increase of 4,000 unemployed compared to the month February, and with the unemployment rate being 8.1% among men and 13.8% among women; for its part, the employment rate in Turkey stood at 48.2% (66% for men and 30.7% for women). Regarding youth unemployment (between 15 and 24 years old), it grew slightly in March to reach 20.1%, being 15.2% among young men and 28.9% among women.
