On the occasion of yesterday’s celebration of the 100 years since the founding of the Turkish Republic, Turkey’s Ministry of National Defence organised a grand event in the Bosphorus Strait that included the biggest naval parade in the country’s history, with 100 Turkish Navy ships crossing the strait accompanied by several fighter jets, including the Türk Yıldızları (Turkish Stars) air show group. This video shows an amazing bird’s-eye view of Istanbul, recorded from the cockpit of one of the group’s jet aircraft.
