Turkish foreign minister, Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu, published a video on his official Twitter profile with which he wanted to thank all the countries that sent rescue teams and humanitarian aid to Turkey after the devastating 7.8 and 7.6 earthquakes that have ravaged southeastern Anatolia, and so far have caused 40,689 deaths in Turkey alone, destroying or seriously damaging 84,726 buildings. “It is in difficult days when it is clear who is a friend,” Çavuşoğlu wrote in a message on the social network, in which he also published this emotional video to pay tribute to all those who have helped in these “difficult days”.
