Turkey’s worst drought in at least the last decade due to climate change leaves striking images of the city of Istanbul, which was covered in snow a year ago and now suffers from abnormal weather due to rising temperatures and lack of of rain. With some dams supplying water to Istanbul below 18%, authorities are already considering bringing in water from other provinces.
