The Bayraktar Kızılelma, the new Turkish combat drone capable of flying at supersonic speeds in coordination with manned fighters, successfully completed its second flight test a few days ago, after making its first flight last December. Capable of operating as a fighter and taking off from aircraft carriers, the Kızılelma can carry 1.5 tons of payload, including air-to-surface missiles to attack ground targets, and air-to-air missiles for air combat, and represents the next generation that will replace to the renowned Turkish drone Bayraktar TB2.
