At least 34 people have died and some 150 have been injured after a brutal attack that occurred in a mosque in the city of Peshawar, northwestern Pakistan. Most of the victims are members of the security forces as the mosque is located inside a police compound. At the time of the explosion there were about 350 worshippers in the temple, so the number of victims could increase. No group has so far claimed responsibility for the attack, but the Taliban have carried out similar suicide attacks in the past.
