Turkey’s Defence Ministry confirmed on Wednesday that a new mine had been detected in Black Sea waters off the coast of Kefken, some 150 km east of Istanbul, and that teams of specialists were working on its deactivation. This is the third sea mine located by the Turkish authorities in the Black Sea: Russia and Ukraine accuse each other of its placement.
