The occupancy rate of hotels in tourists places such as Pamukkale reaches 70%, since many Turks have initiated a mass exodus to holiday destinations in the face of the Feast of the Sacrifice, which begins this Tuesday. Declared along with the ruins of Hierapolis a World Heritage Site by UNESCO, Pamukkale received almost 3 million tourists in 2019, before the pandemic, and has in its surroundings places such as Laodicea or Aphrodisias.
