Heavy snowfall ame Saturday night to Istanbul from the Thrace region, leaving the entire city covered in white. It is expected that the snow, which arrived in the middle of the curfew decreed during the weekend due to the coronavirus, and which has reached up to 40 cm thick in some areas forcing the suspension of the start of face-to-face classes, will continue to fall on Istanbul at least until Thursday.
