Istanbul, Çamlıca Tower

Çamlıca Tower, the tallest structure in Istanbul, turns 2

The famous Çamlıca Tower, the tallest structure in Istanbul, celebrated 2 years since its inauguration on May 29, 2021 and during this time it has received more than a million tourists, as reported by the Minister of Transport and Infrastructure. With a total height of 587 meters, and with 49 floors, the Çamlıca Tower replaced the “forest” formed by dozens of antennas that previously populated the Çamlıca Hill, located in the Asian side of Istanbul and visible from the entire city, becoming the first structure of its kind to be able to retransmit 100 radio channels without interference.

In addition to its use as a broadcast center, the Çamlıca Tower has panoramic elevators, exhibition rooms, a restaurant, a cafe, and a spectacular viewpoint located at the top from which it is possible to contemplate 360-degree panoramic views of the entire Istanbul, and even see the mouth of the Bosphorus Strait and the Black Sea coast.
