This video collects the stunning images that the lunar eclipse “Thunder Moon” left this weekend in the skies of Istanbul. This type of eclipse is an astronomical phenomenon in which our satellite passes through the penumbral zone of the Earth, so that part of the sunlight that should reach the Moon is covered by our planet. The name “Thunder Moon” comes from the fact that in many countries this phenomenon is associated with summer storms.
