The last supermoon of 2020 lit up the skies over Istanbul this week to coincide with Turkey’s celebration of Ramadan. The supermoon, which could be seen from Tuesday to Thursday night, is an astronomical phenomenon that occurs when the Earth is closest to the Moon (perigee).
