A Turkish delegation led by Turkish Deputy Foreign Minister Burak Akçapar will travel to Moscow on March 15-16 for four-way talks with Russia and Iran to normalize relations with the Syrian government. The Russian deputy foreign minister Mikhail Bogdanov will represent the Kremlin, while the Iranian delegation will be headed by Ali Ashgar Khaji, adviser to the foreign minister of Iran, a country whose participation was expressly requested by Ankara; Syria will be represented by Ayman Sousan, deputy foreign minister of the Damascus regime. The objective of this meeting is to make technical preparations for the meeting that the foreign ministers of Turkey, Syria, Iran and Russia plan to hold soon, the date and place of which are still unknown.
