Muharem İnce, elections candidate

Muharem İnce will face Erdoğan in Turkey’s elections

Muharem İnce, who achieved an important success himself as a former candidate of the CHP opposition party in the first presidential elections that Turkey celebrated in 2018, will face Erdoğan in the next parliamentary and presidential elections that Turkey will celebrate on May 14, although this time as a candidate for his own party, the Party of the Homeland. At 58, İnce, former deputy of the CHP for the province of Yalova, tries to capture the young vote and for now he rules out to run within an electoral coalition, despite pressures and appearing in polls behind Kılıçdaroğlu, whom he faced unsuccessfully in 2018 for the leadership of the CHP after having obtained 30% of votes in the presidential elections of that same year.
