The number of visits to the historic Galata Tower in Istanbul, icon of tourism and symbol of the city, have skyrocketed since its reopening last week after 3 months of restoration, despite the fact that it only admits 50% of its capacity due to the coronavirus pandemic. Completely renovated inside and converted into a museum, the tower offers a review of the history of Istanbul as well as magnificent views of the city.
