Coffee enthusiasts and lovers have several appointments in the coming months in Turkey, where several festivals dedicated to this beverage of African origin are scheduled to take place between September and November in cities such as Ankara, Istanbul, Izmir and Antalya.
The first event will be the Ankara Coffee Festival, held on 20, 21 and 22 September at the Bilkent Center in the Turkish capital, now in its eighth year, with tickets costing between 150 and 350 liras (between 4 and 9 euros). Shortly afterwards, at the beginning of October, it is the turn of the veteran Istanbul Coffee Festival, which celebrates its tenth anniversary in 2024: this time the event will take place from 3 to 6 October at the Ataköy Marina, located on the coast of the Bakırköy district, and the ticket price ranges from 170 to 420 liras (4.5 to 11 euros).
But the party continues for caffeine lovers, because in the same month, on 11, 12 and 13 October, the Aegean city of Izmir (Izmir) celebrates for the third year its coffee festival, which will take place at the Izmir Arena, an event venue located on the coast of the Bayraklı district, with tickets starting at 450 liras (12 euros). Also, the Antalya Coffee Festival will be held on 22, 23 and 24 November at Cam Piramit Park, although ticket prices have not yet been announced.
As in previous editions, coffee lovers in Turkey will be able to enjoy tastings, workshops, live music, exhibitions, talks and a host of other activities during these events, in festivals that bring together producers, suppliers, roasters, shops, national and international brands, prominent baristas… And of course customers of all kinds who simply have a passion for this drink.
