A fire that broke out this morning around 3:00 a.m. local time in the Kağıthane district, north of Istanbul, completely burned down a 3-story building in the Çeliktepe neighbourhood, after a fire broke out in the attic for reasons that are still unknown. Fortunately, the event did not leave victims since the residents, alerted by the neighbours, evacuated the building in time.
A few hours later, around 6:30 in the morning, another fire broke out on the upper floor of a 4-story residential building located in the Beyoğlu district, in the heart of Istanbul; in this case, the fire burned completely the attic of the building, located in the Kocatepe neighbourhood, and there were no casualties either thanks to the rapid intervention of the firefighters.
