Police have finally identified and fined the driver who was filmed deliberately blocking the path of an ambulance with its sirens on as it was driving on the D-100 highway near Maltepe in Istanbul, while on its way to Pendik to pick up a patient. The driver, identified by the acronym T. Ş., has also received a suspension of his driving license until he proves that he is physically and mentally fit. Turkish Health Minister himself posted the video of the incident on Twitter, asking the driver: “Are you proud of what you have done?“
