Turkish vets in the eastern province of Van have built a wheelchair with their own hands to adapt it to a fox that was left paralysed after being hit by a car. The animal, which has adapted quickly, now runs freely and happily around the grounds of the Yüzüncı Yıl University where it has been treated, although due to its injuries it will not be returned to the wild, and from now on it will live in the centre’s facilities. “We will take care of him as long as it lives,” says one of the vets who treated the fox.
