Turkuaz, an 8-month-old blind cub transferred to the wildlife recovery centre located in Karacabey (Bursa), has finally managed to partially recover his sight thanks to the efforts of a team of Turkish veterinarians, who explain that after a month with continuous treatment the baby bear’s eyes have begun to see. Now they hope that his vision will improve so that they can join him with other cubs, but if he cannot fully regain his sight he will be welcomed in the center, which currently houses 74 brown bears and 10 cubs in treatment.
