The Bursa Municipal Zoo, in northwestern Turkey, presented to the public 3 African lion cubs born 2 months ago in captivity from “Captain”, a male lion born in the park, and “Pearl”, a lioness brought 3 years ago from another zoo. The three cubs, two males and one female, have been baptised as “Sol”, “Vizier” and “Arce”, they are in good health and belong to a threatened species of lion. The Bursa Wildlife Park is home to 1,100 animals of 136 species in an area of 206,000 km2.
