A group of Turkish fishermen fishing off the coast of the Muğla province, in the Aegean Sea, were surprised to find a bronze Greek statue of a headless woman among their nets. The statue, 2 meters high and about 33 kg in weight, is believed to belong to the Hellenistic period after the conquests of Alexander the Great in Asia, and has great historical value, although it is a mystery how it ended up at the bottom of the sea.
