Midas, a cat who was born with four ears and a defect in the jaw due to a genetic mutation, has become the latest viral phenomenon on the Internet in Turkey, with more than 73,000 followers on social networks. The cat was born on the streets of Ankara 4 months ago, and was adopted by a family who fell in love with the animal “as soon as they saw her” and who wanted to take her in, fearing that her special condition would make it more difficult for her to find a home. The particular feline has become famous on the Internet by recounting her adventures with Suzi and Zeyno, two dogs with whom she lives in the house. “Everybody wants to see her,” says Midas’ adoptive family, whose condition does not affect her health; in fact, she has excellent hearing since all 4 of her ears are fully functional.
