A huge supercell unloaded its full force yesterday on the southeast of Turkey, especially affecting the provinces of Kilis and Gaziantep and leaving strong storms with hail and thousands of lightning strikes. This is the same region of Turkey that just over a month ago suffered a series of devastating earthquakes that left almost 50,000 dead, and that only a few days ago suffered severe flooding that has caused at least 18 dead.
