A total of 19 people, including several celebrities from the worlds of music, acting, fashion, and business, were arrested by authorities in Turkey as part of an investigation into drugs and prostitution involving well-known figures in the country. Among those arrested are well-known names such as singers Murat Dalkılıç and Kaan Tangöze, actor İsmail Hacıoğlu – who has appeared in Turkish TV series – and influencer Kemal Doğulu.
According to the Turkish newspaper Hürriyet, the investigation includes arrest warrants against at least 25 suspects for the crimes of “use of narcotic substances,” “incitement and facilitation of prostitution,” and “facilitating the use of narcotic and stimulant substances.” The operation was carried out by the narcotics department of the Istanbul police, which made arrests and conducted searches and seizures at the homes of those involved.
In addition to the aforementioned artists and celebrities, several businessmen were also arrested, including Murathan Kurt and Nailcan Kurt, partners in the food brand Züber. One of those under investigation has been located abroad, while the operation to search for the rest of the individuals named in the case continues.
As part of the same investigation into drugs and prostitution, other celebrities were also arrested, including former national boxer Adem Kılıçcı and model Tolga Kulakçı. Turkish media also reported that an arrest warrant has been issued for singer Edis Görgülü. During the searches, police seized various amounts of marijuana from the homes of Kaan Tangöze and İsmail Hacıoğlu, totaling 52.46 grams confiscated from those arrested.

In recent months, similar operations against drug use and trafficking among public figures have intensified in Turkey, leading to the arrest of several celebrities, including actors, singers, and models, as part of an expanding investigation covering charges related to drugs and prostitution, which has seen successive waves of arrests and house searches ordered by the prosecutor’s office.
