Turkey has received many messages of solidarity from the international community after the series of earthquakes that shook the southeast of the country this morning, causing more than 900 deaths, as well as offers to send aid from at least 45 countries, including organizations such as the EU or NATO. Among the first countries to express their support and offer “all possible help” have been India and Pakistan. For his part, NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg reported that “the allies are already mobilizing aid.” The European Union has expressed “full solidarity with Ankara” and has already sent search and rescue teams to Turkey.
