A taxi driver was fined during a traffic control in Kadıköy, Istanbul, for driving while holding in one hand a glass of tea he was drinking. “It’s not a phone, it’s a tea,” the taxi driver justified himself. Other taxi drivers were also fined during the police control for failing to pass inspection, or for driving without a belt.
