A Moroccan citizen who was recorded in a supermarket in Esenyurt (Istanbul) asking a cashier woman to cover her hair, was arrested after the video went viral on social media causing great outrage, under the charge of “provoke public opinion with hate speech“, and transfer to a center from where he will be deported to his country of origin. After the video was released, it has been learned that the man had previously made similar comments to other cashiers.
