Today we are going to show you a simple recipe for delicious chocolate-covered cocoa biscuits, ideal for desserts, for breakfast, or to accompany tea or other sweets. Depending on the taste of each person, other types of chocolate can be used, and of course, the biscuits can be given all kinds of shapes and designs.
Ingredients for 16-18 biscuits
- 200 g flour
- 80 g butter
- 80 g sugar
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 50 ml milk
- 25 g cocoa
For the chocolate bars
- 150 g dark chocolate
- 100 g milk chocolate
- Sesame
Preparation
Heat the butter with the sugar and milk, mix and leave to cool.
Sieve the flour, cocoa and baking powder; make a well and pour in the previous preparation.
Stir and make a ball, wrap it in cling film and leave it in the fridge for 2 hours.
To prepare the chocolate bars, melt the dark chocolate in a bain-marie. “Temper” the chocolate (if you want, you can add sesame or something else you like better), and then fill the moulds with a teaspoon and let it harden in a cool place for 30 minutes.
Repeat the process with the milk chocolate. At this point you can use white chocolate or any other chocolate that is more to your taste.
To prepare the cocoa biscuits, flour the dough a little and then roll out the dough to form a layer of about 3 mm. Then cut with the cookie cutter, and bake the biscuits for 12 minutes at 170 ºC, leaving them to cool on a wire rack.
Finally, melt a little chocolate and place it on each of the biscuits, then stick each of the chocolate bars on top.
Let them cool again in a cool place, and then they are ready to eat.
Enjoy!
