Turkey reopens Mount Ararat (Ağrı Dağı, in Turkish) to mountain tourism since February 4, after access to the place was prohibited in 2015 due to operations against the terrorist group PKK. Considered according to Bible the place where Noah’s Ark rested, Mount Ararat is the highest mountain in Turkey at 5,137 metres high, and you can find in it from lakes and waterfalls to craters, as well as forests and a rich wildlife.
