Turkey presented this week in a ceremony held at the Turkish Aerospace Industries (TAI) facilities the almost complete assembly of the fuselage of the TAI TF-X, the future 5th generation national fighter. The national combat aircraft (MMU) is scheduled to start testing in March 2023 and make its maiden flight in 2025, to enter service in the Turkish Armed Forces in 2029 to replace the current fleet of F-16s.
