Delegations from Turkey and Spain will meet this Friday in Madrid to address the EU presidency that the Spanish government will assume during the second half of 2023, starting on July 1, according to the Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The Turkish delegation will be headed by the Vice Minister for Foreign Affairs and Permanent Ambassador to the EU, Mehmet Kemal Bozay, while the Spanish delegation will be led by the Secretary of State for the European Union, Pascual Navarro. During the meeting, “bilateral relations between Turkey and Spain and relations between Turkey and the EU” will be discussed, the ministry reported from Ankara.
