Almost a month after the largest wave of wildfires in Turkey’s history, especially in the southern province of Antalya, earth continues burning underground, and plumes of smoke can be seen rising from underneath in scorched places like Manavgat, where the first fires started. The images have been captured by Gökçe Coşkun, a bird watcher, while touring an area where fire devastated 75,000 hectares for 10 days.
