Excavations at the archaeological site of Kahin Tepe, located in the Turkish province of Kastamonu and belonging to the Neolithic period, have revealed in just 2 years what to date is the oldest temple of Humanity found in the Black Sea region, and that it could go back to about 12,000 years ago. Archaeologists say that this site, with characteristics very similar to Göbeklitepe, could change the history of Anatolia.
