Turkish series “The Magnificent Century” (in Turkish Muhteşem Yüzyıl), known in some Latin American countries as “The Sultan”, celebrated yesterday during an event organized in Paris its entry into the Metaverse by The Sandbox, a well-known gaming platform that offers an immersive experience, through a customizable virtual environment that uses avatars. The agreement between “The Magnificent Century” and The Sandbox will allow users to relive iconic environments and places from this popular Turkish soap opera in the Metaverse, which will also offer a highly interactive gaming experience for fans of the series.
In this way, “The Magnificent Century” becomes the first Turkish series to enter the Metaverse at the hands of The Sandbox, and the second world-wide successful series to take this step after “The Walking Dead”.
