Earthquake in Turkey: 4-month-old baby rescued alive

A 4-month-old baby was rescued alive after spending 50 hours among the remains of a building in Gaziantep, one of the provinces hit by the 7.8 and 7.6 earthquakes in SE Turkey. Rescue teams are now trying to save her parents, while time is running out to find more survivors. President Erdoğan, who today visited Kahramanmaraş, the epicenter of the earthquakes, has updated the death toll to 8,574 dead and 49,133 injured. 6,444 buildings have been completely destroyed.
