Turkey, open-air market during lockdown

Crowded open air markets in Turkey during lockdown

Although Turkey remains under strict lockdown to bend the curve of coronavirus infections, the government has authorised the opening of open-air markets and bazaars on Saturdays for sale of fresh fruits and vegetables. The authorisation is to open on Saturdays from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., but in cities like Konya in just 2 hours all products were sold out due to the large influx of public.
