Although Turkey remains under strict lockdown to bend the curve of coronavirus infections, the government has authorised the opening of open-air markets and bazaars on Saturdays for sale of fresh fruits and vegetables. The authorisation is to open on Saturdays from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., but in cities like Konya in just 2 hours all products were sold out due to the large influx of public.
