At least 4 people were injured this Monday after a powerful gas explosion occurred in a residential building in the Üsküdar district, in the heart of the Asian side of Istanbul. The explosion, which occurred on the 4th floor of a 5-story building, completely destroyed the house, bursting the walls, and caused damage in dozens of metres in all directions, forcing the evacuation of two other buildings. At least two of the injured are serious; one of them was thrown from the 4th floor, pushed by the violence of the explosion.
