On the occasion of the ongoing celebrations for the first centenary of the founding of the Turkish Republic by Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, a spectacular air show took place in Manisa, western Turkey, with the participation of the Turkish Air Force‘s aerobatic group, called “Turkish Stars” (Türk Yıldızları). Thousands of people watched in awe from the ground as the jet planes performed and recorded it on their mobile phones.
