Ruşen Parlak, a 75-year-old retired teacher living in the Avanos district of the Turkish province of Nevşehir, who grows trees in his garden as a hobby, has surprised everyone by producing fruit that shows the image of the flag of Turkey. For now, Parlak has only done it in quinces, but he says it can be done in other fruits as long as it is done before it ripens. At the moment he has only obtained a few fruits with this image, but if there is demand, he does not rule out producing them on a large scale.
