Azerbaijan, Armenian attacks on civilians

Azerbaijan and Armenia accuse each other of bombing civilian population

Intense fighting between Armenian and Azerbaijani forces continues around the occupied Nagorno-Karabakh enclave, where both sides are accused of bombing civilian areas. Turkey on Sunday condemned the bombing of the city of Ganja, the second largest in Azerbaijan and located 20 km from the front. Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev has warned that his country’s military offensive will not cease until Armenia agrees to return the territories it illegally occupied in the war of the 1990s.
