At least 6 people died and another 3 were injured in a traffic accident that occurred yesterday afternoon on the TEM trans-European highway as it passes through the Silivri district, on the outskirts of Istanbul. The accident occurred when a truck traveling at high speed collided with the median of the highway, causing the driver to lose control of the vehicle and cross into the opposite lane, where he collided head-on with two cars. Many emergency teams came to the place, while traffic was reopened through a single lane in that direction.
