At least 3 people were declared dead after a fire and subsequent explosion that occurred this morning at a paint factory in the Tuzla district, on the outskirts of the Asian side of Istanbul, and which caused a column of smoke visible for several kilometres away. Another 9 people were injured in the fire, in addition to a firefighter. The moment of the explosion was recorded on video by some witnesses.
