Turkish parliament joins boycott campaign against Israel

The Turkish parliament has announced that it will join the campaign to boycott products from companies that have openly expressed support for Israel’s offensive in Gaza, and that they will not be sold on its premises. Following the instructions of Turkish Grand National Assembly Speaker Numan Kurtulmuş, “products from companies that support Israel’s genocide in Gaza will not be sold on the parliament’s campus and facilities, including the cafeteria, shops and tea stations,” the parliament said in a statement.

The Turkish parliament thus joins the boycott campaigns against Israeli-made products and multinational companies that have publicly shown their support for Israel’s military operation in Gaza, which are having great success in Turkey, where many media outlets have echoed these initiatives, even publishing lists of products to boycott.
