Although many fishermen can still be seen fishing on the Galata Bridge, it seems incredible that these images taken from the air with a drone are those of Eminönü and Karaköy, two bustling neighborhoods of Istanbul usually crowded with people and with impossible traffic, and where now people and cars are barely seen due to the Turkish government’s recommendation that people stay home. The interior minister has warned that he does not rule out more drastic measures to curb the coronavirus, which has infected 2,433 people in Turkey and caused 59 deaths.
