The Turkish technology company Robit has presented the Azab: a new multipurpose kamikaze drone in the form of a hang glider, developed in Turkey and which has recently passed its flight tests. With a wingspan of 2 meters in its upper version, the Azab T200 is capable of flying long distances and carrying 15 kilos of payload; it can also be launched from a truck thanks to a catapult system. It has several flight modalities, from free flight to flight by GPS coordinates, and can also be directed by an operator supported by a powerful camera at a distance of 200 km. Described as “unique of its kind”, the Azab plans to complete its ammunition tests before the fall, and several countries as well as the Turkish government itself have already shown interest on it.
