9 people died this morning in a terrible traffic accident that occurred in the province of Sivas, in central Turkey, when two vehicles – a car and a van – collided head-on in the district of Gölova due to the driver of the car, who on a trip to Istanbul, invaded the opposite lane when performing an improper manoeuvre. A total of 4,866 people died last year in Turkey in road accidents.
