Turkish Ministry of Interior announced on Tuesday that the use of a mask is now mandatory throughout the country, on the street and in any circumstance except inside home, given the increase in coronavirus infections, which in the last 24 hours registered 1,761 new positives. This week the Turkish government announced new restrictions to contain the pandemic, including a ban on passengers from standing on the bus, but scenes of buses packed with commuters were still seen today in cities like Istanbul.
