The governor of Istanbul announced on Thursday the suspension of two policemen, after the controversial images on social media in which they used excessive force to arrest a woman who apparently did not wear the mask properly. The video, which went viral, was recorded by several witnesses in the Kadıköy district: the woman appears on it crying and screaming, and when another woman asks the policemen “What are you doing!” one of them responds “He kicked me!”
