Turkish electric vehicle brand TOGG has celebrated the 8th anniversary of its founding, having surpassed 105,000 users and consolidated its position as the leader in the Turkish market for electric vehicles. During the first five months of 2026, the company achieved a 25% market share and continues to grow: not only by increasing car production but also by expanding its charging infrastructure, its software solutions and its presence in Europe.
According to data from the Turkish Mobility and Automotive Distributors Association (ODMD) cited by local media, the TOGG T10X was the best-selling model in Turkey between January and May 2026 with a total of 9,070 units sold, whilst the TOGG T10F took second place with 7,675 units. As a result, the company’s combined sales totalled 16,745 vehicles in the first five months of the year, enabling it to achieve a 25% share of the domestic electric car market.
The Turkish consortium also increased its local production rate, bringing the proportion of domestically sourced components to 81.72% for the T10X and 83.9% for the T10F. Whilst continuing to manufacture both models primarily at its technology centre in Gemlik (Bursa), the company has expanded its presence in the European market, where it has already begun selling its vehicles in Germany.
Meanwhile, Trugo, TOGG’s charging brand, has surpassed 4 million successfully completed charging operations across the country’s 81 provinces. The network operates through more than 2,000 stations and over 4,000 charging points and, according to data from the Turkish Energy Market Regulatory Authority (EPDK), Trugo remains the leader in the national charging network with a market share of 27.3%.
At the same time, TOGG is accelerating the development of its new generation of electric vehicles following the launch of the T10F. The new models, developed in collaboration with CAIT – a subsidiary of the Chinese battery manufacturer CATL – are scheduled to go on sale in the Turkish market from 2027; in parallel, the company continues to invest in digital mobility through updates to TruOS – the operating system featured on the digital displays of its EVs – and solutions based on Artificial Intelligence.
